Merry Christmas!
My digital photography to celebrate the wonder of God's creation in praise of His name. If a sunset is majestic, it's because God is majestic. If a child is delightful, it's because God is delightful. If a flower is beautiful, it's because God is beautiful. God did not create anything that gives us more pleasure than Himself. "Finally ... whatever is lovely ... if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things." - Philippians 4:8

At Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia, the tops of many huge granite rocks are covered in black. At first, I thought they were just "polluted" from acid rain. It wasn't until I saw little puddles of tar on rock after rock that I realized what the black coating was ... it is tar from an oil spill. Here is one such puddle of tar which looked to me like the earth weeping ... pollution breaks my heart ...

I had a great time in Baltimore at the Care Net Conference as their photographer. My life has been changed by being with these awesome people! God is amazing. See all my photos of the conference HERE. (No, this is not a photo of Baltimore ... it's Toronto, ON at sunset on my way home ... I just thought it was cool to get a shot from the air that didn't look too bad considering how scratched the plane window was :) )

As I stooped down to take a closer look at this pond beneath a blazing maple, the wind was brushing the surface so gently and playfully that the entire surface seemed to be "alive" with action and just then, two leaves hit the water one after the other and I could almost hear music - like God was playing a symphony right there before my eyes ... He's so cool!Thursday, September 11, 2008
