When I was at a conference in San Antonio, Texas, this fall, I walked downtown to visit the Alamo. After supper down by the river, I thought I'd return to see what it looked like at night and the moon was just rising behind the fortress and I was able to take this shot. The story of the Alamo is one that inspires people even today who face extreme resistance and who find that defeat can be a rally cry for future victory. May your heart be encouraged to rise one more time than your enemy and give the glory to God.
