"Ok, you're safe now" he called out from his fishing hole as he looked behind me. "The ice is thin back there where that hole is." I look back to where I had just come walking across the melting ice on a warm January day to see a hole the size of a small snowmobile and wonder how I missed seeing that. I was so caputred by these two fishermen out on the ice and thought that if they were out there, I could be too ... They were very cooperative and even held up a fish for me to see! Photography is an adventure! :)
