In but not of

The gentleness and purity of a white feather on the cold hard rocks of the ocean shore reminds me of the Grace of God and how He came from heaven in the person of Jesus Christ to live among us whose hearts are cold and rock hard ... He came not to judge, but to live a pure sinless life and to submit to an unjust, torturous death to make room in God's justice for those who actually deserve such punishment (like me and you). We are all invited to receive Jesus' suffering as payment for all our own sin. Then this scene it reminded me of how Jesus, in His purity, comes and lives in the lives of those who receive Him and transforms us from the inside out and calls us to allow Him to live through us "in, but not of" the world.
