On one of the first warm days in early spring, the first flags of hope burst from the ground in these crocuses. They're the only flowers around and this morning the bees were swarming around the flowers. I found that when I put my camera down among them, they would turn and fly away from the lens, so I had a terrible time trying to get a face-on shot of them ... so this is the best one I have so far of one flying away from the camera. I'll keep trying and maybe some day this summer I will be able to get at least a profile :)
