Ever have a clear vision of where you wanted to go, but the more you tried to get there, the futher away you seemed to get? Like this feather which looks like it could have tried to "fall" into the sky ... only to find it was a reflection in a puddle, not the sky at all. It reminds me of an old Larry Norman song, "Walking backwards down the stairs, trying to get higher. How can I get anywhere, walking backwards down the stairs? People stop and watch me, wonder what I'm doing, what direction I'm pursuing. I pretend I'm free, but actually I'm walking backwards down the stairs, trying to get higher. How can I get anywhere walking backwards down the stairs?"
