After the storm

On Thanksgiving weekend, 2005, the Maritimes were soaked in a downpour that lasted continuously for four days. Boats on the South Shore of Nova Scotia were sinking because the pumps could not keep up with the water. I'm just glad it wasn't snow. Some say an inch of rain is equal to about a foot of snow. We had about seven inches of rain ... which would be about seven feet of snow ... plus drifting ... Something to be thankful for.
